November in the butterfly garden
November butterflies
I have seen Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell and Brimstone butterflies in the first half of November.
These are all species that spend the winter in adult form (as a butterfly). Comma and Peacock butterflies hibernate too.
November plants
Hebe plants and Buddleia weyeriana have attracted butterflies in November.
